Also with Tattoos, Ink is injected into the skin which usually lasts permanently, however with Permanent Makeup, a special pigment is applied into the skin which lasts somewhere between 1 - 3 years.
That's why sometimes permanent makeup in the form of microblading and micro pigmentation is called "Semi-Permanent Makeup!"
